Papermau’s 16 September 2026 post brings renewed attention to Crafting Your Museums, a collection originally created for Muse Fest HK 2020. This is a rediscovery of an existing resource, rather than a new model release.

The official Hong Kong museums website provides models of Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, Oi!, the Hong Kong Railway Museum and the Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery. The selection puts contrasting buildings alongside a preserved vessel, giving an architectural collection an unusual range of subjects.

Builders can choose coloured paper and add their own details. Accessories, including figures and trees, allow the individual models to become small scenes. The Flagstaff House page offers beginner and advanced downloads and estimates about five hours for assembly.

The freedom to choose the paper is particularly attractive: colour becomes a construction decision, while the buildings’ shapes remain easy to read.
